James Blunt

I used to be a hard-core iTunes user… Every “New Music Tuesday” found me downloading their latest free song of the week. As time has passed and I’ve found I didn’t like several of their musical selections, I’ve become more cynical and bitter about which ones I check out. I’m glad I picked up this week’s free download though… In fact, it lead to the purchase of his entire album.

High by James Blunt is currently available on the iTunes Music Store as their Free Download Single of the Week. I’d highly recommend it.

His album Back to Bedlam really reminds me of the style of Jeff Buckley, with something else mixed in, which I can’t seem to put my finger on…

One of the best $10 I’ve ever spent at the iTMS, by far… “Wisemen” has played about 30 times now in my car’s CD player. If only I could find a 4gb white iPod nano around here…

Those are some great links. Especially good if you want a better taste of his music. You’re Beautiful is probably my favorite track of his, so it’s most certainly worth a look.

    Isn’t blogging great?

James Blunt is awesome! Im lookin for the wisemen video on the web somewhere so i can use it in ma flash box on bebo…. only problem is it has to be .swf format, dont know what that means exactly but it would be awesome if a link magically appeared matchin that criteria.

I don’t know of such a thing off hand anywhere, but I’m sure you could find a converter -> .swf on the web. Just Google for <format_of_source_file> to .swf and I’m sure something will come up.

Even if you tracked down something that would capture your screen to a .swf file, you should be able to get that to work for your purposes (albeit in a hackish way).

    Cheers, ill look it up!
