To your FeedDemon/NetNewsWire question - very soon. :-) There is a syncing version of FeedDemon in beta right now - if you go to the NewsGator beta forums, you’ll see the link you can use. And a sync-capable NetNewsWire will likely be previewed in the next week or two, if all goes well…

While I’ve (hopefully) still got you, are you guys still doing (or planning?) active development for NewsGator Online? In the past few months I’ve logged in a couple times and haven’t seen anything that stood out as being remarkably new (well, not since the podcast stuff came out). The interface still seems a little rough to me, and I really look forward to more improvement. With as many great desktop products coming down the pipe, don’t you think it’s time to give the ever faithful online version a little lovin’? :)

There is DEFINITELY active development for NewsGator Online. There’s actually been a lot going on, but it’s mostly been behind the scenes so it’s not visible. We should, however, have a load in the next week or so which will contain some very cool (and very visible) features - watch my blog or the NewsGator forums for an announcement.
