Symantec Vista White Paper Links to PatchGuard Crack

Symantec Vista White Paper Links to PatchGuard Crack

Since it’s apparently only found in 64-bit versions of Vista (and therefore only an extremely small percentage of current machines will ever see it), I’ve yet to hear much about PatchGuard other than Symantec’s insistence that it’s going to severely compromise the ability of other security vendors to protect users by preventing low-level access to the Windows kernel.

I’m sure we can expect a law suit from Microsoft any day now…

Google Redirect Broken: Are you losing traffic?

Google Redirect Broken: Are you losing traffic?
I’d never encountered this before1. It’s interesting to see some of the things that Google is doing to help combat phishing, malware, crapware, etc. sites.

Although this appears to only be partially successful (why just for commas?), I wouldn’t be surprised to see similar tactics grow in the near future. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see AdSense make its way onto those pages…
