You know what the one thing I can never seem to find when I’m looking for it?
A mini-USB cable. You know, the one with the regular end on one side and that freakish little trapezoid end on the other? I can never find one of the damn things…
Like today. I bought a Motorola Razr V3c from Verizon. Well, I want to hook it up to my PowerBook using the built-in USB port. Unfortunately, I can’t find a damn mini cable. I know I have to have one around here somewhere, but damned if I know where. It’s not in any of the regular boxes such a cable would be in…

I have 1 box for all cables, doesn’t matter if they are power, network, AV, whatever - all in the one box.
This has saves me heaps of time over the years, as I know if it’s not in there I have to buy one.

I’ve got a big wire box as well. It’s a huge blue Rubbermaid box that’s packed to the gills with cables (mainly Cat5, oddly enough). Unfortunately, nowhere in that box is there a mini-USB cable. God knows there’s got to be one in this house somewhere, with all the assorted crap I have, but obviously it failed to make it into the usual box. I’m sure there was some good logic behind it at the time, but hell if I know what it was now…
